Changes in our autumn programs
As the managers of the Aurin Girls Choir and the Miraculum Children’s Choir, we have always embraced the unpredictable nature of life and the joy of new experiences. However, this September, an unexpected twist came our way, leading us to make significant changes to our choirs’ programs. Despite the challenges, we are excited to embark on a new adventure and make the most of the opportunities that have come our way.
Originally, we had meticulously planned a thrilling concert tour to Paralia, Greece, for the Aurin Girls Choir, where we were set to participate in an international choir competition. Alas, fate had other plans for us! We received an unanticipated school program notification that requires our students’ participation in an Erasmus+ program in Transylvania during the same period.
Although we were initially disappointed about not being able to journey to Greece as planned, we quickly realized that this change could open up new doors for us. Flexibility is the key to success in the world of music and education, and we knew we had to adapt gracefully to the situation.
With our students’ best interests in mind, we decided to reschedule the time and destination of our concert tour. Thanks to the unwavering support of the National Talent Program, we were able to plan an equally enchanting and enriching trip to Cracow, Poland, for the Advent Choir Festival and Competition. This festival holds a special place in our hearts, as we have already participated once before and had a fantastic experience.
In Cracow, we will have the opportunity to showcase our musical talents in two categories: sacred music and the youth choir category. The Aurin Girls Choir and the Miraculum Children’s Choir are well-prepared to deliver awe-inspiring performances that touch the hearts of audiences and judges alike.
As we adapt to the change in plans, we look forward to embracing the magic of Cracow and the Advent season. The city’s rich history, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality will undoubtedly inspire our performances and create unforgettable memories for our students.
On top of our exciting Cracow adventure, we eagerly anticipate the Vox Mundi festival, which is part of the Erasmus+ program in Timisoara, Romania. This festival celebrates diversity, unity, and the power of music to bridge cultures and connect hearts. It will be an incredible experience for our students, as they learn from and perform alongside other talented young musicians from different countries.
Although unexpected, these changes have reminded us of the importance of resilience and adaptability in our journey as educators and musicians. We are grateful for the National Talent Program’s continued support, which enables us to provide our students with transformative experiences that shape their musical growth and enrich their lives.
As we set forth on these new paths, we do so with enthusiasm, determination, and an unwavering commitment to the power of music to bring people together. We are excited to make music, forge new connections, and create cherished memories in both Cracow and Timisoara. Our journey may have taken an unexpected turn, but we are confident that it will be a melodic adventure filled with harmonious moments that will resonate with us for years to come.
