Double win in Krakow
With great joy and pride, we share the news of our achievements at the Krakow Advent Choir Festival! The journey was not only about our victories but also an opportunity to explore the captivating city and reunite with our old friends, the Acapell’Art Singers from Nyíregyháza.
First and foremost, our choir achieved remarkable results at the competition, securing first place in both categories. The recognition is a testament not only to our hard work but also to the strong sense of community that we proudly embody. During our stay, our choir had the privilege to present two competition performances and two concerts in various churches.
When not preparing for the competition, we delved into the city’s enchanting sights. The iconic Wawel Castle, the beautiful Town Hall Tower and the Main Square were all awe-inspiring attractions that immersed us in the city’s rich history and culture.
A truly special moment was when we unexpectedly encountered our old friends, the Acapell’Art Singers, during our time in Krakow. Meeting them here, just two months before their performance in Kecskemét as part of our very own Miraculum Concert series, was a heartwarming experience that enriched our memories.
The Christmas market at the main square was truly magical. The festive lights, Christmas carols, and aromatic pastries created an enchanting ambiance that deepened our holiday spirit. The bus journey was a bit tiring, but the breathtaking landscapes of snow-covered mountains and forests made us forget any inconveniences of travel.
Overall, this trip was an unforgettable experience for us. The magic of music, the bonds of friendship, and the charm of the city merged to create cherished moments. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us and contributed to the realization of this choir festival. These achievements, new connections, and experiences propel us forward in our musical journey with renewed passion. Our next goal is to extend an invitation to the Acapell’Art Singers to join our Miraculum Concert series, so we can celebrate the wonders of choral music together and express our gratitude and friendship in a fitting manner!
